Wednesday Evening run

The Wednesday evening run to Roundyhill started from the Leisure centre as it was bike week.
Chris from Andy's Bike shop and a friend joined us. We split up with Ron leading a run round by Drumgley and St Orland's Stone then onto Roundyhill. While Charlie took the other group the usual route around by Benchie and Maryton. We met others at Roundyhill and Jim provided chips to go with our refreshments.
Worth mentioning that this is the first evening run when its been warm and dry enough to sit outside.

Sunday Run to Johnshaven

Six of us started from the leisure centre on a rather gray day. Ron, Keith, Gus, Norman, Charlie and myself Daveh. Only a slight breeze in our favour as we eased up the Old Brechin Road and on past Aberlemno to Brechin where Keith and Ron turned off. The 4 of us then continued up by Hill of Stracathro and Muir of Pert before descending down by Gallery to Marykirk. From here we tackled the lengthy climbs up Kirktonhill and around the back of Garvock Hill continuing on by Tulloch then over Knox Hill into Inverbervie. After turning down the main road we stopped for coffee and bacon rolls at the burger van. Didn't bother going down to Johnshaven but continued down the main road and had to shelter a while at St Cyrus when the rain started. We then took the cycle route down the steep hill to the shore then along and over the viaduct before turning off at Hillside. Met Kip there and he stopped a while for a blether. Headed homewards by Bridge of Dun and Farnell. At Redroofs we took a detour along and down by Milldens to the Arbroath Road then up the Aldbar Road and along to Dunnichen before returning to Forfar by Lownie and Lour Road.

The run on Wednesday will be from the Leisure Centre for Bike week
The next Sunday Run is to Glencarse
