Sunday Run to Rait

Six started on the Sunday run to Rait. Once over Carot Hill and down to Kellas, Keith, Ian , and Brian, turned off along the Duntrune Road and ended up at Meigle for a cuppie before heading home. Gus, Charlie, and Dave, headed down into Dundee and along the Carse by Invergowrie and Kingoodie to Errol. Here they turned down by the station then over the flyover to Rait where they stopped for a cuppie at the Antiques Centre. It was a perfect autumn day and they soon overheated in the sun on the climb out of the Carse and down to Balbeggie. Here they took the back roads around by Kinrossie and Kettins before returning home by Balkeerie where they met Norman who had started later and was returning from a run round by Ardler.

This weekend is the club weekend to Coran.

Wednesday Evening Run to Drovers

Several turned up on a fine night for a run to the Drovers Inn at Memus.

Sunday Run 31/9/2012

The run on Sunday was to Clova and 5 members turned out. Lunch was at the Clova Hotel and some went home via Prosen.
Meanwhile 3 club members travelled down to Linlithgow on Sunday to take part in the 3 Glens Explorer 160k (100 miles) Audax Event.
Both Club and Audax events had a damp start but were treated to a sunny albeit windy day from mid morning to late evening.
