Sunday Run 29th April

Sunday was a bit cold and breezy and with no fixed route planned, the group of 7, who turned up, first made their way along to Montrose the direct route. They then followed the cycle path out by the aerodrome and round to St Cyrus where the stopped for a coffee at the Cafe there. From there they took a wander round the back roads past Ecclesgreig Castle and eventually on by Marykirk and Gallery before making their way home to Forfar. The distance that day was around 66 miles.

There were 2 out on the B run leaving at 10am. As it was rather chilly they opted for a short run going out to Peggy Scotts for a cuppie before making their way back home.

Meanwhile two members Dave Fawcett and Dave Husband travelled to Gourock to take part in the "Rivers Lochs and Glens" 200k Audax. The weather was bright and sunny and the views were stunning as they took a route around by Erskine, Loch Lommond, and Arrocahar then down the south of Loch Fyne  to Otter Ferry before tackling a very hilly route over to Ardlamont, Tighnabruich, then Dunoon to catch the ferry back to the start.
