Brian, Norman, Charlie & David with Normans new SPA Cycles Audax Bike
It was like a spring like day as we headed out towards Brechin with the wind behind us we skirted round the back of Brechin and up past the old Matrix facory then up to the golf course where Brian headed for home, and out towards Northwater Bridge up past the old US Naval Base and into the tea room in Eddzell.
After a fantastic bowl of soup and good strong coffee we headed for home, Charlie went via Brechin whilst David, Norman and I headed for the Drovers where we saw Italy take the lead over France in the 6 Nations and supped dow three pints of Orkney Raven Ale.
We headed out of the Drovers at half time with a chance of seeing the end of the match if we tanked it down the road. Back in Forfar 46 Miles. The route is here.
